IUPUI’s Shelton, Omaha’s Cook, NDSU’s Polgar Named #SummitWSOC Players of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI midfielder Hayley Shelton and Omaha midfielder Carlie Cook were named Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Players of the Week while North Dakota State goalkeeper Monica Polgar received the league's Defensive Player of the Week award following their performances Aug. 22-28.
HAYLEY SHELTON, IUPUI

- Earned her first Player of the Week honor after scoring seven points, including three goals, during week
- Scored a pair of goals and added an assist in win over Marian
- Notched equalizer to spark comeback victory at Indiana State
CARLIE COOK, OMAHA
Jr. // M // Tulsa, Okla.
- Earned her first Player of the Week honor after a pair of goals during the week
- Drew her team even with Creighton with game-tying goal in eventual loss
- Scored team's first goal for the game-winning marker in victory over North Dakota

MONICA POLGAR, NORTH DAKOTA STATE

- Garnered her first career Player of the Week award after posting a 0.50 GAA, including a shutout victory
- Made match-high three saves, including a diving stop in the 69th-minute, to preserve 1-0 win over CSUN
- Totaled four saves in 1-0 loss at UC Riverside
