DU’s Walker and IUPUI’s Somhegyi Claim Diver of the Week Awards

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Sammy Walker earned Summit League Women's Diver of the Week while IUPUI's Krisztian Somhegyi earned Summit League Men's Diver of the Week award for their performances during the week of Jan. 2-8.

SAMMY WALKER, DENVER

  • Earned her second career Summit League Diver of the Week, second this season
  • Scored a 283.95 in the three-meter dive, placing her fourth in the league
  • Had scores of 228.83 and 239.18 in the one-meter dive

  • Finished the one-meter dive with a score of 326.50, placing third
  • Finished the platform dive with a score of 323.10, placing third
  • Set a new season high with a 388.55 in the three-meter dive, taking the number one spot in the league
