Denver and IUPUI Claim Swimmer of the Week Awards

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Morgan McCormick and IUPUI's Olivia Treski were named Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Week while teammate DU's Andrew Torres and IUPUI's David Sweezer earned Men's Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Jan. 2-8.

MORGAN MCCORMICK, DENVER
Jr.  // Golden, Colo.   

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the second time in her career, first this season
  • Had a winning time of 57.13 in the 100 back for the fourth time this season
  • Earned her fifth event win in the 200 back with a time of 2:01.34

OLIVIA TRESKI, IUPUI
So.  // Evansville, Ind.  

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the third time in her career and this season
  • Finished first in the 200, 500 and 1000 free
  • Finished with a time of 1:54.92 in the 200, 5:08.20 in the 500 and 10:32.30 in the 1000 free

  • Finished first in the 1000 free with a winning time of 9:37.75
  • Had a time of 4:41.13 in the 500 free
