ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State sophomore guard Madison Guebert was named The Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Jan. 16-22.

  • Earned her first career Player of the Week award 
  • Scored a career-best 32 points, along with five assists and four rebounds in a road win at Denver
  • Also set career-highs in field goals made (11) and assists (5) against the Pioneers, while shooting 91.7 percent from the field
  • Surpassed 850 career points, with 18 points vs. Western Illinois, handing the Fighting Leathernecks just their second league loss
  • For the week, averaged 25 points, 4.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and one steal per contest with a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio
  • Shot 69.6 percent (16-of-23) from the field, 61.5 percent (8-of-13) from three-point range and 76.9 percent (10-of-13) at the free throw line
