IUPUI’s Rogers Captures #SummitWBB Player of the Week Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI senior center Mikale Rogers was named The Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Jan. 23-29.

  • Earned her fifth career Player of the Week award and third this season 
  • Tallied a season-high 27 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a come-from-behind victory at Western Illinois
  • Added 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field with six boards in a road win at Fort Wayne
  • For the week, averaged 21.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game with just two turnovers in 71 minutes of action
  • Shot 56.3 percent (18-of-32) from the field and 85.7 percent (6-of-7) at the free throw line
