Omaha’s Grigorescu Claims #SummitMTN Weekly Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha's Razvan Grigorescu was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance Jan. 31-Feb. 6.

  • Collected his second career Player of the Week award and second honor in three weeks
  • Defeated Iowa's Josh Silverstein, 6-4, 6-7 (10-12), 1-0 (11-9) at No. 1 singles
  • Improved to 4-0, including two wins over No. 1 singles players from a Power 5 schools
  • Held a 4-3 lead with Colin Buckley at No. 1 doubles before match was halted by point clinch
