SDSU’s Miller Captures Second Straight #SummitWBB Weekly Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State junior guard Macy Miller was named The Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week award for her performances, Jan. 15-21.

Earned her ninth career Player of the Week honor and fifth this season which is tied for second-most in a single-season in league history
Tied her career-high with 31 points on 11-of-18 shooting in just 26 minutes of action against Western Illinois
Also grabbed eight rebounds, along with four assists, four steals and two blocks in the win over the Fighting Leathernecks
Added 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a non-league win over Dakota Wesleyan
For the week, averaged 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.0 block per contest
Was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line, while shooting 62.5 percent (20-of-32) from the field and 50 percent (6-of-12) from three-point range

Through 35 years of Division I athletics, The Summit League features women's basketball teams from eight member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois with North Dakota becoming an official member for the 2018-19 season.
