The Summit League Announces the Fifth Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Week five of the swimming and diving season is complete and this week's Summit League weekly award winners each finished in the top five of their respective events. Western Illinois' Erica Hagen was named the female swimmer recipient, while Denver's Cameron Auchinachie earned the male swimmer of the week award. On the diving board, Omaha's Annika Clinton claimed the female diver of the week, respectively.
Female Swimmer of the Week
Erica Hagen, Western Illinois
Sr. | Lisle, Ill.
- Claimed her second career swimmer of the week award and first of the season
- Against Omaha, won a pair of individual events and was the second leg of the 400-yard medley that claimed the victory
- Times: 100-yard IM, 1:00.40; 100-yard fly, 59.42; 400-yard medley, 1:02.83 (4:03.04), 400-yard free, 59.18 (3:53.17)

Female Diver of the Week
Annika Clinton, Omaha
Sr. | Minnetonka, Minn.
- Earned her second career diver of the week honor and second this season
- Placed second in all three of her events
- Scored a 215.63 in the 3-meter dive against Western Illinois and earned a score of 258.00 in the 1-meter and 272.17 in the 3-meter against Illinois State

Male Swimmer of the Week
Cameron Auchinachie, Denver

- Took home his first career swimmer of the week accolade
- Won his second 50-yard free of the season and third of his career as a Pioneer at Iowa, with No. 6 Michigan
- Time: 50-yard free, 20.09; 100-yard free, 44.52; 200-yard medley, 19.75 (1:30.38); 400-yard free, 44.64 (3:00.27); 400-yard medley, 44.16 (3:19.98); 200-yard free, 20.01 (1:21.08)
- Currently ranks 12th in the country in the 50-yard free with his relay leadoff time of 20.01
