The Summit League Announces the ninth Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – As the holiday's get closer many teams are on holiday breaks and trips. For Omaha and Denver it was business as usual as both teams got into the pool and competed this past week while also earning swimming and diving weekly awards.
Co-Female Swimmers of the Week
Rachel Morrow, Omaha
Jr. | Katy, Texas
- Won three individual events and a relay in the Mavericks meet at the University of Sioux Falls
- Won the 200-yard free (1:55.84), 100-yard free (53.06), 50-yard free (24.54) and the 200-yard free relay (24.52 / 1:38.55)
- This is her first career Summit League Swimmer of the Week honor
Heidi Bradley, Denver
Sr. | Victoria, B.C.
- Earned the first women's victory of the day for Denver in the 100-yard IM reverse with a time of 59.62
- Posted top five finishes in both the 50-yard backstroke (27.05) and the 100-yard fly (57.16)
- This is her second Summit League Swimmer of the Week honor this season and third of her career
Female Diver of the Week
Annika Clinton, Omaha
Sr. | Minnetonka, Minn.
- Placed first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 255.30
- Placed first in the 3-meter dive with a score of 249.15
- This is her third diver of the week honor of the season
Male Swimmer of the Week
Cy Jager, Denver
So. | Moscow, Idaho
- Won both the 50-yard breaststroke and 100-yard breaststroke at the FAU Fun Invite
- He swam his 50-yard breaststroke in a time of 25.97 and his 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 56.72
- This is his first Summit League Swimmer of the Week honor this season and second of his career
