The Summit League Announces the eighth Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After a week hiatus, Summit League members got back into the pool this past weekend. The University of Denver put together an impressive weekend as Annelyse Tullier is named the female swimmer of the week and Colin Gilbert is named the male swimmer of the week.
Female Swimmer of the Week
Annelyse Tullier, Denver
Sr. | Dallas, Texas
- Earned an NCAA B Standard time in the 500-yard Free with her time of 4:46.32. She finished fourth out of a field of 40 in the event
- Posted the top time in The Summit League is both the 200-yard Freestyle (1:47.62) and in the 500-yard Freestyle
- Earned three top five finishes and two other top 10 finishes at the Tennessee Invitational
- This is her second career Summit League Swimmer of the Week honor

Male Swimmer of the Week
Colin Gilbert, Denver
Jr. | Kamloops, British Columbia
- Earned an NCAA B Standard in the 1650-yard Freestyle (14:58.57) and the 500-yard Freestyle (4:17.01)
- Has the top times in the Summit League in the 500 free, 1000 free and 1650 free this season
- Won both the 500-yard freestyle and the 1650-yard freestyle at the Tennessee Invitational. Posted a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:36.70) and the third in the 800-yard freestyle relay (1:37.59 / 6:31.91)
