ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver sophomore guard Lauren Loven and South Dakota senior guard Jasmine Trimboli were named The Summit League Women's Basketball Players of the Week for their performances, Feb. 12-18.

  • Earned her first career Player of the Week award
  • Tallied 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting with a pair of rebounds in a win over Oral Roberts
  • Added 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field in the win against Omaha
  • For the week, averaged 18.5 points and 2.5 rebounds, while committing just one turnover per contest
  • Shot 45.8 percent (11-of-24) from the field, 46.7 percent (7-of-15) from three-point range and 88.9 percent (8-of-9) at the free throw line

  • Awarded her first career Player of the Week honor
  • Scored 16 points with five rebounds and three steals, while shooting 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from the field in a win over Oral Roberts
  • Held ORU leading scorer Faith Ihim to just five points in the final three quarters
  • Added 10 points with three steals and two assists in South Dakota's win at Omaha
  • Averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 steals, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and just 0.5 turnover per game, while shooting 66.7 percent (10-of-15) from the field and a perfect 5-of-5 from the line
  • The Coyotes are riding a 17-game win streak and have clinched at least a share of the regular season title

ABOUT SUMMIT LEAGUE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Through 35 years of Division I athletics, The Summit League features women's basketball teams from eight member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois with North Dakota becoming an official member for the 2018-19 season. In 2016-17, The Summit League raised its RPI for the third consecutive year, finishing with an all-time best No. 11 ranking.
