The Summit League Announces the 12th Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The 12th edition of The Summit League swimming and diving weekly awards is here. This week the awards were spread across the League and feature student-athletes that posted some impressive times and earned NCAA Zone Diving marks. Denver and Eastern Illinois picked up this week's swimmer of the week honors while South Dakota and South Dakota State split both the diving awards this week.
Female Swimmers of the Week
Lauren Moden, Denver
Sr. | Parker, Colo.
• Moden won four events in Denver's dual at Georgia Tech. She also finished second in two additional events
• Her four wins came in the 50-yard freestyle (23.57), 200-yard freestyle relay 23.72 first leg split (1:34.07), 400-yard medley, 50.47 last leg split (3:44.26) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:43.37)
• Her second-place finished came in the 100-yard freestyle (51.95) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:27.26)
• This is her second career Summit League Swimmer of the Week honor, and first this season

Male Swimmer of the Week
Scott House, Eastern Illinois
So. | Elizabethtown, Ky.
• House won all four events he swam in and helped Eastern Illinois to a dual win over Valparaiso
• His four wins came in the 50-yard freestyle (20.87), 100-yard freestyle (46.66), 400-yard Medley relay, 48.60 fourth leg split (3:36.78) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:26.21)
• He set a Padovan Pool record in the 50-free
• This is his third career swimmer of the week honor and third of the season

Female Diver of the Week
Sarah Schank, South Dakota
Sr. | Cottage Grove, Minn.
• Set a new personal best in the 1-meter dive with a score of 280.15 while also earning an NCAA Zone Diving qualifying score. Her score is also the high mark in the Summit League and the fourth best score in USD history
• She won the 3-meter dive with a personal best score of 315.15 and earned an NCAA Zone Diving qualifying score. Her score is the second-best mark in USD history
• This is her ninth career diver of the week honor, fourth of the season and third consecutive honor

Male Diver of the Week
Mitch Raihle, South Dakota State
Jr. | Spring Lake Park, Minn.
• Won the 1-meter dive with a score of 280.80 while winning the 3-meter dive with a score of 301.25
• His two victories were win numbers five and six for him on the year
• This is his second career diver of the week honor and first of the season
