Pioneers Sweep #SummitSD Swimmer Awards, Coyotes Capture Diver Accolades

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After three weeks of the swimming and diving season, the Denver Pioneers and the South Dakota Coyotes continue to showcase their talents, as they split this week's awards. Denver swept the swimming awards as Colin Gilbert and Kylie Cronin were named the Male and Female Swimmers of the Week, respectively, while Hudson Wilkerson and Haley Pederson notched the Male and Female Divers of the Week, respectively.

Female Swimmer of the Week
Kylie Cronin, Denver
Sr. | Marblehead, Mass.

• Captured four individual wins at the Dual-A-Pool-Ooza in Miami, Fla., leading the Pioneers to dual wins over FIU and Tulane

• Recorded a first-place time of 2:01.15 in the 200 Fly, which ranks 44^th in the country

• Also placed first in the 100 Fly (55.01) and anchored the third 200 Medley Relay record a first-place time of 1:44.29

• Second-straight week earning swimmer of the week award

Female Diver of the Week
Haley Pederson, South Dakota
Jr. | West Fargo, N.D.

• Finished second in the 3-meter dive with a score of 246.35 at the MSU Moorhead Penta Duals

• Also earned a 1-meter dive score of 248.40, finishing third overall

• Third career diver of the week honor and second this season

Male Swimmer of the Week

• Earned three individual event wins in the Pioneers' Senior Day dual meet against Air Force

• His first-place 200 Fly time of 1:50.99 currently ranks 73^rd in the country

• Also captured victories in the 500 Free (4:37.61) and the 1000 Free (9:38.43)

• Fifth career swimmer of the week honor

Hudson Wilkerson, South Dakota

• Swept both diving competitions at the two-day MSU Moorhead Penta Duals

• Posted an NCAA Zone Qualifying personal-best 312.70 on the 1-meter board

• Added a victory in the 3-meter with a score of 284.80

• Fourth career diver of the week accolade
