Three Summit League Programs Earn #SummitSD Weekly Accolades
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Week six of the swimming and diving season is complete and this week's Summit League weekly award winners come from three separate programs. South Dakota State's Ashley Theobald was named the female swimmer of the week, while Western Illinois' Adam Peterson was tabbed the male swimmer of the week. South Dakota's Haley Pederson continues to shine in the diving portion, as she earned herself her fourth diver of the week this season.
Female Swimmer of the Week
Ashley Theobald, South Dakota State
Sr. | Fort Pierre, S.D.
• Won two individual events and placed second in a relay event to help SDSU defeat Omaha
• Broke the Marshall Center Pool record in the 400 IM with a first-place time of 4:37.65
• Finished first in the 50 Free (24.26) and second in the 200 Medley Relay (1:50.14)
• First career swimmer of the week award

Female Diver of the Week
Haley Pederson, South Dakota
Jr. | West Fargo, N.D.
• Recorded an NCAA Zone Diving Qualifying mark on the 1-meter board with a career-best 270.65, placing second overall against Iowa State
• Moved up to fifth on the program's all-time mark for the 1-meter board
• Also placed third in the 3-meter board with a score of 255.70
• Fifth career diver of the week accolade and fourth this season
