SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Valparaiso's men's tennis athlete Brandon Ancona and Denver's women's tennis athlete Anna Riedmiller took home this week's Summit League Athlete of the Week awards after helping their respective teams to victories this past weekend.
Brandon Ancona, Valparaiso
Junior | Belvidere, Illinois
- Improved his singles record to 10-4 on the season
- Defeated a First Team All-Horizon performer from last season 7-5, 6-3 in the No. 1 spot
- Led the way with a straight-set win to bounce back from dropping the doubles point to sweep all six singles courts for the team victory

Anna Riedmiller, Denver
Sophomore | Wichita, Kansas
- Now holds a 5-0 singles record and a 4-2 doubles mark for the season
- Took the victory in straight sets at the No. 3 spot
- Won 6-2 at the No. 2 spot in doubles to clinch the doubles point
