The Summit League Announces Week Two Softball Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota senior Jamie Holscher has been named this week's Summit League Player of the Week, while North Dakota State's Kk Leddy earns pitcher of the week honors.
Holscher helped lead her South Dakota Coyotes to three victories at the Eastern Michigan Beach Invite in Florida last weekend. In three consecutive game Holscher hit a 3-run home run while driving in 11 runs and producing a .389 batting average. Leddy was named to the Puerto Vallarta Session Two All-Tournament team after earning one victory in 18 innings pitched. She struck out 14 batters and posted a 2.33 ERA at the challenge event.

• Holscher hit a 3-run home run in three straight games while driving in 11 runs. One of her 3-run home runs was a walk-off bomb to beat Drexel
• She picked up seven hits including two double and earned a weekend batting average of .389 and a slugging percentage of 1.000
• Was perfect in the field with 19 put outs, and assist and a double play turned
• This is her first career player of the week honor

• Leddy earned one win at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge and posted a 2.33 ERA
• In 18 innings of work she struck out 14 batters
• Pitched two complete games and recorded her eighth career shutout against Northern Colorado
• This is Leddy's second career pitcher of the week honor and first of the season
