The Summit League Announces Week Three Softball Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota senior Jamie Holscher has been named the Summit League Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, while the Coyotes Alexis Devers earns pitcher of the week honors.
For the second consecutive week Holscher put her power on display with a home run in three straight games including a walk-off blast against Purdue. She earned seven hits and posted a batting average of .438 in the Yotes five games. Devers helped guide the Yotes to two wins, throwing two complete games with 10 strikeouts and only three earned runs in 19 innings pitched.
Player of the Week
Jamie Holscher, South Dakota
Sr. | Infielder | Lincoln, Neb.
• Holscher hit three home runs in three straight games for the second consecutive week while driving in seven runs
• She picked up seven hits on the weekend and earned a batting average of .438 with an on-base percentage of .471 and no strikeouts in 16 at-bats
• Was perfect in the field with 17 put outs and three assists
• This is her second straight player of the week honor and second of her career

Pitcher of the Week
Alexis Devers, South Dakota

• Devers threw two complete games earning two wins while picking up a no-decision in a Yotes win against Purdue where she pitched five innings
• In 19 innings of work she posted a 1.11 ERA with 10 K's
• This is Devers' first career pitcher of the week honor
