Ancona, Lazarevic earn athlete of the week honors
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Valparaiso's Brandon Ancona and South Dakota's Jana Lazarevic secured the Summit League Men's and Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors after helping their respective teams to victories in conference play. This is the third honor of the season for Ancona and the first for Lazarevic.

Junior | Belvidere, Ill.
- Improved his singles record to 21-4 and doubles mark to 18-5
- Helped Valparaiso extend its win streak to six
- Ranks ninth in program history with 59 career singles wins
- Has won 12 straight singles matches and five straight doubles victories

- At the No. 1 spot in singles, improved her win streak to four matches
- Helped the Coyotes to their sixth straight match, allowing just one team point against in that span
- Teamed up with Luana Stanciu to improve their doubles win streak to four
