Pioneer duo sweep tennis athlete of the week honors
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Denver's men's tennis athlete Matt Summers and women's tennis athlete Bianca Mok secured the final athlete of the week awards of the season. The duo helped their respective teams clinch the 2019 regular season titles. This is the first weekly honor for Summers and the fourth of the season for Mok.
Matt Summers, Denver
Sophomore | Maidstone, U.K.
- Finished the weekend 3-1 in competition
- Holds an overall singles record of 12-5 and doubles of 11-5
- Clinched a tight match against New Mexico at the No. 2 position

Bianca Mok
Senior | Boise, Idaho
- Finished with a singles victory at the No. 1 spot and a doubles win at the No. 2 position
- Improved her overall record to 14-2 in singles and 13-4 in doubles
- Went into the weekend ranked No. 109
