The Summit League Announces Week Nine Softball Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State swept The Summit League Player and Pitcher of the Week honors for the second time this season. Senior Maddie Hansen has been named The Summit League Player of the Week, while senior KK Leddy earns pitcher of the week honors.
North Dakota State's Hansen and Leddy helped lead the Bison to four wins in Seattle including their
18th consecutive victory, the fourth best streak in the NCAA. NDSU's 18 straight wins also set a new Division I program record for consecutive wins. Leddy picked up two wins in the circle for NDSU while Hansen hit over .500 and drove in seven runs.
Player of the Week
Maddie Hansen, North Dakota State
Sr. | Catcher | Ely, Iowa
• She posted a .545 batting average with six hits in 11 at-bats
• Hit one home run with two doubles for a slugging percentage of 1.000
• She scored three runs on the weekend
• In the field she recorded two assists with 22 putouts and one runner caught stealing
• This is her first career player of the week honor

• She threw two complete games, earning two victories
• Gave up one earned run in 12 innings for a 0.58 ERA
• Struck out 10 batters
• This is her fourth career pitcher of the week honor and third of the season
