The Summit League Announces Week 13 Softball Awards
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Numerous standout performances in the final weekend of the regular season made for an electric close t the regular season. South Dakota's Jessica Rogers and Omaha's Jamie White earned co-player of the week honors while Western Illinois' Abby Carlin was named the pitcher of the week.
A pair of first-time honorees in White and Carlin join Rogers, a six-time honoree, on the final weekly awards of the season. Rogers and White were tough outs all weekend as they managed three extra base hits, six RBIs and at least one home run. Western Illinois leaned on Carlin in the circle as she picked up a complete game victory and a save as the Leathernecks improved its Summit League winning streak to nine.
Co-Player of the Week
Jamie White, Omaha

• Posted a .500 batting average with five hits in 10 at-bats
• She hit two home run and drove in six runs and added one double while scoring three runs
• Had an on-base percentage of .583 and a slugging percentage of 1.200
• This is her first career player of the week honor

• Posted a .625 batting average with five hits in eight at-bats
• She hit one home run and drove in six runs with two doubles and two runs
• Had an on-base percentage of .667 and a slugging percentage of 1.250
• This is her sixth career player of the week honor and second of the season

• This is her first career pitcher of the week honor
