Pioneers Collect #SummitSD Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Class is back in session and the swimming & diving season is onto a new year, as the tenth edition of The Summit League weekly awards has been announced. Denver's Charlotte Simon and Cameron Auchinachie earned female and male swimmer of the week honors, respectively, while the Pioneers' Jason Gleason earned his first career male diver of the week accolade.

Female Swimmer of the Week
Charlotte Simon, Denver
Jr. | Saint Remy, France

• Finished first in three of four events competed in against Wyoming

• Recorded fifth victory of the season in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:19.06

• Also placed first in the 100 Breast (1:04.38) and 200 Medley Relay (1:44.92) and finished second in the 200 IM (2:08.34)

• First career swimmer of the week honor

Cameron Auchinachie, Denver
Jr. | Binghamton, N.Y.

• Recorded four wins in four different events against Wyoming

• Finished first in the 100 Back (48.80) and 100 Free (44.68)

• Also finished first in the 400 Free Relay (2:59.89) and 200 Medley Relay (1:29.34)

• Fifth career swimmer of the week honor
