Denver Sweeps #SummitSD Swimmer Awards
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The 11th edition of The Summit League swimming and diving weekly awards is here, with each award winner earning multiple first-place triumphs in their respective events. Denver swept the field as Kylie Cronin and Colin Gilbert earned Female and Male Swimmers of the Week, respectively.
Female Swimmer of the Week
Kylie Cronin, Denver
Sr. | Marblehead, Mass.
• Notched five wins in six different events against BYU and Utah
• Won her sixth 100 Fly of the season (55.27) and her seventh (2:03.99) and eighth (2:03.96) 200 Fly races of the campaign
• Helped the Pioneers to a pair of wins in the 200 Medley Relay
• Third swimmer of the week honor of the season

Male Swimmer of the Week
Colin Gilbert, Denver
Sr. | Kamloops, British Columbia
• Recorded fifth and sixth 500 Free wins of the season against BYU and Utah, as the Pios men's squad recorded its first dual win against a Power 5 school since 2016
• Earned his fourth 1000 Free (9:35.57) triumph of the season and won his third 200 Fly race
• Also placed first in the 200 Fly (1:52.04) against Utah
• Sixth career swimmer of the week honor
