South Dakota State’s Greer earns season’s first weekly accolade

SDSU’s Greer claims the first player of the week award of the season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State's Haley Greer was named The Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week by league officials following an impressive season-opening performance that helped push the Jackrabbits to a 76-69 victory over No. 15/18 Iowa State in Brookings.
 
Greer put up a team-high 20 points in her Jackrabbit debut and shot 66.7 percent (6-for-9) from the field, including 4-for-6 from behind the arc against the Cyclones. The grad transfer from Colgate also went a perfect 4-for-4 at the charity stripe and added three rebounds, two assists and a team-leading two blocks.
