SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Summit League officials tabbed their October Golfers of the Month Monday with Omaha's Mandi Granato earning the female accolade and North Dakota State's Jack Johnson earning the male honor.

The monthly honors are the first of the Granato and Johnson's respective careers.

Granato earned the honor after posting a trio of top-10 finishes, including a victory at the Maverick Invitational. The sophomore led the Mavericks in scoring in all three of their fall tournaments and set career-bests at the home event, firing an opening round 72 (E) and finishing with a 228 (+12) total.

Johnson began his collegiate career with a top-five finish at the Maverick Invitational in the Bison's lone tournament of the fall to capture the male honor. The freshman tied for fifth thanks to an even-par round of 72 in round two and finished with a 54-hole total of 220 (+4).

The remainder of The Summit League golf programs will begin their 2020-21 seasons in the spring.
