SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State junior Myah Selland claimed her third Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week accolade after two impressive performances to end non-conference competition, league officials announced Monday.
Selland averaged 22.0 ppg, 9.0 rpg and 3.5 apg to help the 25th-ranked Jackrabbits finish its nonconference slate at 7-2 with wins over Montana State, 82-67, and Northern Iowa, 74-63.
She led all scorers in the victory over Montana State with a career-best 27 points that included a 9-for-9 performance from the charity stripe. Selland also pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds and dished out three assists in the victory over the Bobcats. It marked the fourth double-double of the season for Selland and the seventh time in her career that she tallied 20-plus points. Against Northern Iowa, she posted 17 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists.
