South Dakota’s Duffy notches fifth weekly award of the season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota guard Ciara Duffy claimed her fifth Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week award of the season, league officials announced Monday. Duffy averaged 22.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 4.5 apg in a pair of road wins for the Coyotes.

In South Dakota's 71-39 victory over Omaha, Duffy recorded a full stat line as she finished with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. She shot 50 percent from the floor against the Mavericks while going 2-for-3 from the free throw line.

The Rapid City, S.D., native finished the week leading the Coyotes to their 10^th straight league victory with a 92-60 win at Denver. Against the Pioneers, she notched a career-high 31 points while also handing out seven assists and grabbing five boards.
