SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City’s Brooklyn McDavid was named the TicketSmart Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week by league officials. An all-around effort from McDavid over the week secure the Roos to two home victories.
In Kansas City’s 53-43 win over Wyoming, McDavid notched down 19 points on 9-for-19 shooting while adding 11 boards for a double-double. She also dished out a pair of assists and three steals in her 40 minutes of action against Wyoming.
Against Grand Canyon, McDavid scored 29 points on 9-for-12 shooting and went 11-for-12 from behind the charity stripe. She also pulled down six rebounds, notched two assists and a steal in the victory.
McDavid finished the week going 18-for-31 (58.0 percent) from the field, 12-for-13 (92.0 percent) from the free-throw line, averaged 24.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 2.0 spg and 2.0 apg.
