SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City’s Naomie Alnatas picked up this week’s TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor league officials released Monday. Alnatas led Kansas City in scoring in all three games en route to a 3-0 weekend for the Roos.
In Kansas City’s 76-62 win over Dixie State, Alnatas led the Roos scoring 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field. She also pulled down five boards, dished out four assists and notched three steals.
In the 78-55 victory over Grambling State, Alnatas recorded another 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting. She also contributed three assists, a pair of rebounds and a steal.
Against UT Arlington, Alnatas went 12-for-19 from the field, including 6-for-7 from the three-point range, en route to 38 points. She also dished out seven assists, grabbed four rebounds and tallied three steals in the victory.
Alnatas finished the week averaging 24.7 ppg, 3.7 rpb and 4.7 apg. She shot 60 percent (26-for-43) from the field including 67 percent (10-for-15) from the three-point range.
