The Jackrabbits look to continue that success this season with the return of two all-league honorees from last season as well as the 2020-21 Player of the Year redshirt junior Myah Selland.
  • Preseason Player of the Year Selland was named to the watch list for the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Award by Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. Selland is also one of 50 watch list candidates on the Wooden Award and Naismith Trophy preseason watch lists.
  • She led the league last season with 19.2 ppg and ranked third in assists per game (3.8), field goal percentage (.515) and assists/turnover ratio (1/5) on her way to WBCA Honorable Mention All-America accolades.
  • Selland along with the Coyote duo of Hannah Sjerven and Chloe Lamb were named to the 2021-22 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch list following impressive 2020-21 seasons.
  • Sjerven led the Coyotes with 17.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game last year. She led the league in rebounds, blocks and double-doubles. Sjerven was also named to the Naismith Trophy preseason watch list.
  • Lamb was the league's third-leading scorer last season with 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. She returns for her senior season as the league's top 3-point shooter, sinking 61 3-pointers at a 43.3 percentage from behind the arc.
