SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha women’s swimming collect weekly honors for the second-straight week after competing in a home dual against Northern Iowa, with Parker Hagemann collecting the TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Swimmer of the Week and Kady Eller earning the Women’s Diver of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.
Hagemann and the Maverick swimmers competed in a relay-only swimming meet against Northern Iowa in the final meet of 2021. The Webster Groves, Mo., native helped Omaha to two first place finishes and two second place finishes. She helped the Mavericks finish first in the 500 Free Relay with a time of 4:48.59 and 850 Free Relay with a winning time of 8:39.21. Additionally, Hagemann helped her team in the 3x100 Fly Relay (3:00.76) and 8x50 Free Relay (3:18.30) to second place finishes.
Eller led the way in the diving events earning second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 223.88 and posted a third-place showing with a score of 231.00 in the 3-meter dive.
