SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City’s Brooklyn McDavid claimed this week’s TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor, league officials announced Monday. McDavid helped lead the Roos to claim their program-record-tying 10
th straight win of the season.
In Kansas City’s 69-62 home win over Santa Clara, McDavid dropped a game-high 26 points while shooting 59 percent (10-for-17) from the field. Alongside her 26 points, she pulled down six boards, dished out an assist, collected a steal and went 6-for-8 from behind the charity stripe.
McDavid has four 20-point games on the year and sits among the league’s top five in points per game, field-goal percentage and rebounds per game.
