SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha’s Sadie Limback and South Dakota’s Lolo Weideman secured their second-straight Summit League Volleyball Player of the Week honors after their performances helped their respective teams to claim road series sweeps.
 
In the first meeting with Western Illinois, Limback recorded a match-high 19 kills while hitting .567 in the match to help guide the Mavericks to a 3-1 victory over the Leathernecks. Limback carried the momentum in the second match against Western Illinois, swinging down a team-high 13 kills on a .667 clip in the 3-0 victory to give Omaha the series sweep. On the weekend she averaged 4.57 kills per set while hitting a blistering .604 in two matches.
 
Against in-state rival South Dakota State, Weideman led the defensive pack in the 3-1 series-opening win recording a career-high for a four-set match of 26 digs. In the series-claiming 3-0 win over the Jackrabbits, Weideman equaled her career-high in a three-set match totaling 17 digs. She completed the weekend with 43 total digs averaging 6.14 digs per set.
