SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha sophomore’s Caroline Gardner and Kady Eller were named the Women’s Swimmer & Diver of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Caroline Gardner, Omaha
So. | Plymouth, Minn.
• Helped Omaha place second in both relays at Northern Iowa
• Swam a leg time of 30.45 helping the 200 Medley Relay team to a 1:50.87 time and swam a leg of 25.65 in with 200 Free Relay time of 1:43.47
• Also earned a first-place 100 Breast time of 1:06.08
• Earned her second career swimmer of the week award
Women’s Diver of the Week
Kady Eller, Omaha
So. | Phoenix, Ariz.
• Omaha’s top finisher in both diving events at Northern Iowa
• Posted a third-place score in the 1-meter (221.92) and second-place score of 231.22 in the 3-meter dive
• This is the first Summit League weekly honor for Eller
