SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota State duo of senior midfielder Eden Brooker and sophomore goalkeeper Jocelyn Tanner led the Jackrabbits to a road triumph over Air Force in their final non-league match of the regular season and were named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Soccer Players of the Week, league officials announced on Monday. Brooker scored the game-winning goal while Tanner recorded her fourth shutout of the season.
Brooker guided the Jackrabbits to their third consecutive and sixth shutout on the season to close out non-league play with a 1-0 road victory over Air Force. The Santa Rosa, Calif., native scored the game-winning goal in the 69
th-minute of play when she received a feed from senior forward Cece Limongi and Brooker slid the ball past the Falcons keeper with her first touch.
Tanner picked up her third-straight shutout and fourth overall of the season in a 1-0 road victory over the Falcons. The Ham Lake, Minn., native made three stops on seven shots and improved her record to 5-1 in non-league action this season.
