SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City’s Naomie Alnatas claimed her second TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor of the season, league officials released Monday. She averaged 21.5 ppg, 7.0 apg, 4.5 rpg and 1.5 spg en route to two home wins.
To help complete a regular-season sweep over Denver, Alnatas led the Roos’ scoring efforts with her seventh 20-point performance of the season. She dropped 23 points, four rebounds and a career-high-tying nine assists in the Roos’ 72-54 win over the Pioneers.
In Kansas City’s 68-65 overtime victory over Omaha, Alnatas netted her second-straight 20-point performance. She finished with 20 points, five rebounds, five assists and a trio of steals in 37 minutes of action against the Mavericks.
