SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts senior Hannah Cooper earned the season's first TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor, League officials announced Monday. Cooper put together a pair of strong opening-week performances that saw her average 27.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 4.5 apg and 3.0 spg against some tough opponents.
In Oral Roberts' 105-94 loss at No. 15/16 Oklahoma, Cooper dropped 15 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out a team-best five assists against the Sooners.
In a 100-84 loss to UNLV, the reigning Mountain West Champions, Cooper poured in a career-high 39 points on 12-for-19 shooting from the floor and and a 13-for-15 effort from the charity stripe. She also grabbed three rebounds, had a game-high tying four steals and dished out three assists.
Through the first week of women's collegiate basketball, Cooper ranked eighth nationally in points per game (27.0).
