SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Summit League women’s basketball had a lot going on over the holiday. We saw North Dakota State remain undefeated and extend its win streak to six consecutive games. We saw Oral Roberts pick up its first win of the Kelsi Musick era. We saw Denver secure its second win of the season, just to name a few.
The competition continues today with three of our 10 teams taking the court. Western Illinois hosts Tarleton State at 5 p.m. CT to kick off the night. Denver travels to Wichita State to face the Shockers at 6 p.m. CT and South Dakota State will meet Montana State in Bozeman, Mont. at 8 p.m. CT.

In the loss to Houston Christian Makayla Minett notched her second career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Pios ... JoJo Jones led the Pioneers with a season-best 16 points ... Emma Smith rounded out the double-figure scorers for Denver as she finished with 11 points ... In the victory over New Mexico State, Smith led the scoring efforts for Denver recording a season-high 18 points, four rebounds and a pair of assists ... Minett finished with eight points and a team-high 11 rebounds, three steals and three blocks in the win.

The Roos split the week on the road falling to Arkansas State (79-68) in overtime but defeating Bradley (71-68) in overtime ... In the overtime loss to Arkansas State, two Roos finishing with 20-plus points led by E’Lease Stafford ... Stafford recorded 24 points for her second 20-plus point game of the season ... She also finished with five rebounds a pair of assists, a block and a steal ... Sanaa’ St. Andre followed Stafford putting up 23 points to go along with a team-best eight assists ... St. Andre has reached double-digit scoring figures in five-of-six games this season ... Defensively, Dani Winslow recorded her fifth-straight game with 10-plus boards finishing with a game-high 16 rebounds ... In the win over Bradley, the duo of Stafford and St. Andre once again notched 20 points apiece ... St. Andre led all scorers with 22 points while Stafford finished with 20 ... Jocelyn Ewell tallied 15 points and pulled down a team-best nine rebounds while Tamia Ugass finished with 12 points of her own.

Kacie Borowicz was the lone Fighting Hawks to finish in double-figure scoring efforts to pace the offense for the fifth straight game ... Borowicz finished with 12 points, four rebounds and a pair of assists ... Jolene Daninger followed Borowicz finishing with nine points, five rebounds and three steals ... Against Manhattan College, three finish in double-figure scoring efforts once again led by Borowicz who notched 16 points, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line ... Daninger finished with 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting while Juliet Gorden went a perfect 4-for-4 from the three-point line en route to a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds ... It was Gordon’s second career double-double.

Elle Evans followed finishing with a season-high 13 points, four rebounds and three steals while Abby Schultes rounded out the double-digit scorers finishing with 11 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field ... Hamling came out and dropped a career-high 39 points against Nevada to propel North Dakota State to victory ... She was 11-for-19 from the field, 7-for-12 from behind the three-point line and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line ... Hamling’s 39 points ranks third-most all-time in a single game at NDSU ... Evans was the only other Bison in double figures as she finished with 10 points to go along with four rebounds and a pair of assists.

Elena Pilakouta followed behind finishing with 14 points for her sixth consecutive game in double-figure scoring ... Grace Cave was the only other Maverick to finish in double-digits recording 11 points to go along with nine rebounds, four assists and three steals ... As a squad, Omaha was 49 percent (25-for-51) from the field and 93.3 percent (14-for-15) from the three-point line.

It was the first double-double of Cooper’s career ... Ariel Walker and Delaney Nix also joined the double-figure point club finishing with 20 and 14, respectively ... Walker went 8-for-15 from the field en route to her career-high 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds ... In the loss to SMU, a trio of Golden Eagles finished with double figure scoring efforts led by Tirzah Moore’s double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds ... Ruthie Udoumoh followed with 13 of her own while Cooper chipped in 12 points ... Cooper once again led the pack for ORU going 8-for-13 from the field for 23 points against Central Christian ... She added seven rebounds and a game-high six assists in the win ... Udoumoh followed pouring in a career-high 20 points on 9-for-12 shooting while Nix rounded out the double-figure scorers finishing with 11 points.

Jade Hill, Maggie Negaard and Jo Langbehn all followed Lamker’s finishing with 11 points apiece ... Negaard was 4-for-5 from the field, pulled down three rebounds and stole three balls ... Hill finished with a team-best five assists to go along with three rebounds and three steals ...
