SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State’s Myah Selland secured her first TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor of the season, league officials announced Monday. She put together a well-rounded week in a pair of Jackrabbit wins to push South Dakota State to 13-1 in league play.
 
In South Dakota State’s 79-52 win over Denver, Selland posted a season-high 25 points to lead all players on 10-for-13 shooting including going 3-for-3 from behind the arc. She also grabbed six rebounds, dished out a team-high four assists and notched two blocks in the victory.
 
Against Omaha, she just missed a triple-double as she finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to go along with three blocks. In the 77-62 victory over the Mavericks, Selland went 5-for-11 from the field including 3-for-4 from the three-point line.
 
Over the two games, she averaged 19.0 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 6.0 apg and 2.5 bpg. She also shoot 86 percent (6-for-7) from the three-point line and 63 percent (15-for-24) from the field.
