ORU’s Giusto, SDSU’s Manding garner TicketSmarter #SummitWSOC weekly accolades

Oral Roberts, South Dakota State notch peak performer weekly honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts midfielder Annaliese Giusto and South Dakota State defender Kaycee Manding were named the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Soccer Peak Performers of the Week. Giusto received the offensive honor, while Manding earned the defensive award, league officials announced Monday.
 
Giusto led the Golden Eagles to a 7-0 midweek win against Northwestern Oklahoma State where she registered a hat trick in the first 20 minutes of the contest. Her three goals came in the third, 11th and 20th minute. The Danville, Calif., played 54 total minutes and tallied an assist in the match giving her a total of seven points. Giusto also added the game-winning goal in a 1-0 home victory against Central Arkansas.
 
Giusto’s four goals on the week moved her to first in the Summit League leaderboard for goals this season.
 
Manding registered two assists including one on the game-winning goal by Maya Hansen in the 85th minute of a come-from-behind 3-2 win against Northern Arizona. Manding tied for a team-high 75 minutes of action against the Lumberjacks.
 
The Waipahu, Hawaii native played the most minutes (70) among her fellow Jackrabbits in the home opener of a 3-0 triumph over Bemidji State.
