SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the third time in the past four weeks, South Dakota’s Elizabeth Juhnke was named the TicketSmarter Summit League Volleyball Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, while Denver’s Brianna Green was tabbed the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Juhnke earned her ninth career weekly accolade after she averaged 5.4 kills per set in USD's 3-0 weekend at the Bulls Invitational in Tampa, Fla. The junior outside hitter began her weekend by picking up her sixth double-double of the season in a 3-1 victory over Stetson with a match-high 20 kills and 13 digs, while hitting .372.
 
The Lakeville, Minn., native followed up that performance with another match-high 16 kills in a sweep of Cornell. Juhnke closed out the invitational by hitting .516 in a sweep of South Florida where she tallied a match-high 18 kills in addition to nine digs and three blocks. In total, she racked up 54 kills, 31 digs and 10 blocks while hitting .434 in the Coyotes' three matches in Tampa.
 
Green collected her second career weekly award after helping the Pioneers capture the Thin Air Challenge by holding teams to a .119 hitting percentage. The Cedar Hill, Texas native opened the tournament by leading Denver defensively with five blocks in a sweep of Air Force.
 
In a 3-1 triumph over San Francisco, Green posted a match-high eight blocks and helped the Pioneers hold the Dons to a .129 hitting percentage. In the finale, Green had a season and match-high nine blocks in the sweep of UC San Diego.
