#SummitWSOC Weekly Notebook: No. 6

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The league season is officially here, as all 10 teams will be taking the pitch beginning on Friday with South Dakota State coming into league play with a 6-0-3 ledger. St. Thomas (3-2-2), North Dakota State (4-3-3) and Oral Roberts (5-4-1), sit second through fourth, respectively, in the standings through non-league action.
 
Veterans Amy Andrews of Western Illinois, Kennedy Langebartels of ORU and Maya Hansen of SDSU are all tied at the top spot with five goals apiece heading into league play, while Hansen leads the league with 15 total points. The goaltender duo of Jocelyn Tanner and Hailee Fischer of SDSU have split times in front of the net and have combined for five shutouts apiece.
 
The action begins with the Leathernecks hosting the Golden Eagles on Friday at 3 p.m. CT.

Sarah McCracken also got on the board in the 70th minute against UAPB, while Madi Livingston secured her second straight shutout on the weekend ... UND had an impressive nine corner kicks in the match and Livington recorded four saves.

The Mavericks managed 11 shots in the match with seven on goal, while Mia Reedtz returned to the lineup to record three saves ... Reedtz made a career-high eight saves in goal in the loss to Air Force ... Omaha will look to bounce back from a rough non-league start by hosting North Dakota and North Dakota State this week.

The Tommies will resume their suspended match with Green Bay from Aug. 18 on Tuesday with UST leading 2-0 in 54th minute.
