UST’s Lehman, DU’s Arrazola receive TicketSmarter #SummitWSOC weekly accolades

Tommies’ Lehman, Pioneers’ Arrazola collects offensive and defensive peak performer weekly honors



SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –
 St. Thomas forward McKenna Lehman and Denver goalkeeper Nerea Arrazola were named the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Soccer Peak Performers of the Week. Lehman earned the offensive honor, while Arrazola received the defensive accolade, league officials announced Monday.
 
Lehman and the Tommies opened league play at home by earning four points thanks to a 1-1 draw against Kansas City and a 2-1 victory against Oral Roberts. Against the Roos, Lehman scored her first career goal in the 58th minute of the match to break the scoreless tie.
 
The Lakeville, Minn., native helped capture UST's fourth win of the season with another key goal against the Golden Eagles in the 7th minute of the match. With the win, St. Thomas (4-2-3) tied its win total from the 2021 season.
 
Arrazola posted back-to-back 2-0 home shutout wins against North Dakota State and North Dakota to begin league action. Against NDSU, Arrazola made two saves with her first being in the 52nd minute on a leaping block up over the net to preserve the shutout.
 
The Issaquah, Wash., native secured her second clean sheet with two second half saves against the Fighting Hawks and moved within one career shutout of a tie for the fourth-most in Denver history (24).
