SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Three teams went undefeated in the second weekend of the #SummitVB season. Those teams are Denver, Omaha and South Dakota, with the Pioneers and Coyotes winning three straight, while the Mavericks won two straight matches.
After starting the season 0-3, DU swept the Denver Invitational with wins against Portland, Butler and Hofstra. The Coyotes also swept their tournament in the Borderland Invitational with a trio of victories against Portland State, New Mexico and UTEP, while Omaha captured wins against Wichita State and Northern Colorado.
Denver will head to Austin, Texas where they will face the top ranked team in the country in Texas. USD will compete in a pair of home matches before heading to Sioux Falls for a neutral site match against the Bears of Northern Colorado, while UNO will host its second straight tournament in the Omaha Invite presented by Sarpy Country Tourism.
