SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – We have made it to the second to last week of league competition and Denver sits atop the standings with a 4-0-1 mark (13 pts). The Pioneers defeated the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State (3-1, 9 pts) last week to take sole possession of first place in the standings. Denver will host its final regular season home match this weekend when they take on Kansas City (1-1-2, 5 pts).
South Dakota State and Oral Roberts (3-2, 9 pts) are tied for the second spot in the standings at nine points apiece, while South Dakota (2-2-1) is in fourth place with seven points. Omaha (1-1-3, 6 pts) and Kansas City are fifth and sixth, respectively, and its going to be a fun final two weeks for teams to punch their tickets to the league tournament.
