SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The final week of the regular season is here and it’s going to be a fun week to track the matches, scores and standings. Denver (9-1-5, 5-0-1 SL) remains in first place in the standings with 16 points and they’re in the running to secure its sixth straight regular season title and eighth overall regular season crown.
South Dakota State (11-3-0, 4-1-0 SL) is second with 12 points and will play a trio of matches, including the regular season finale on Tuesday as they will host Omaha (5-4-5, 2-1-3 SL) with nine points. Along with the Pioneers, the Jackrabbits along with South Dakota (7-4-4, 3-2-1 SL) earned a spot in next week’s championships.
Oral Roberts (6-6-3, 3-3-0 SL) is tied with the Mavericks for fourth in the standings, while Kansas City (2-6-7, 1-3-2 SL) and North Dakota (5-7-4, 1-3-2 SL) are tied for the sixth and final spot. North Dakota State (4-6-6, 0-3-4 SL) plays host to Denver and a tie of win against the Pioneers could see the Bison qualify for the championships.

In one of the most thrilling matches this season, Omaha earned a 3-2 triumph over Kansas City where Marissa Gohr netted the game-winning goal with just 19 seconds left on the scoreboard ... After Omaha’s Cece Behrens tied the match with a goal in the 85th minute, Gohr found the ball in the box and put it past Kansas City goalkeeper Riley Moore to give Omaha the late lead ... Sophia Green threw the ball in to Grace Ostergaard, who was able to work it through to Gohr for her fourth goal of the season ... Ostergaard recorded two assists on the last two goals for the Mavericks ... Green had an assist on a Emilee Erland goal and now has three on the year ... Green leads the league with 19 points heading into the final week of league play.
