Game times, ticket on-sale date set for 2024 Summit League Basketball Championships

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Summit League basketball fans will be able to purchase all-session tickets for the 2024 Men’s and Women’s Championships starting Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. CT, league officials announced Thursday. All-session tickets will be available online at Ticketmaster.com or in-person at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center box office.

All previous two-year ticket holders will have the option to purchase 2024 all-session tickets during a limited presale. Those eligible have received information via email.

The men’s and women’s brackets will feature each of the League’s nine members and combine to see 16 games played over a five-day span at the PREMIER Center. The action starts on Friday, March 8 with a combined session involving first round games between the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds for both genders.

The women will open the tournament with a contest at 4:30 p.m. CT followed by the men’s matchup at 7 p.m. CT. The winners of those respective games will take on the men’s and women’s No. 1 seeds Saturday in quarterfinal action.

Saturday’s quarterfinal slate begins at 12:30 p.m. CT with the women’s No. 2 seed taking on the No. 7 seed before the No. 1 seed takes on the winner of Friday’s first-round tilt at 3 p.m. CT. Saturday’s first men’s session starts at 6 p.m. CT with the No. 1 seed and Friday’s first-round winner squaring off before the No. 2 seed faces the No. 7 seed at 8:30 p.m. CT.

Sunday’s quarterfinal slate will remain the same as year’s past with the women’s No. 3 and No. 6 seeds playing at 12:30 p.m. CT and the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds meeting at 3 p.m. CT. The men’s session starts at 6 p.m. CT with the No. 3 and No. 6 seeds playing followed the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds at 8:30 p.m. CT.

Monday will feature four semifinal games with women’s games slated for 12:30 p.m. (Saturday’s second quarterfinal winner vs. Sunday’s first quarterfinal winner) and 3 p.m. CT (Saturday’s first quarterfinal winner vs. Sunday’s second quarterfinal winner), while the men will play at 6 p.m. (Saturday’s first quarterfinal winner vs. Sunday’s first quarterfinal winner) and 8:30 p.m. CT (Saturday’s second quarterfinal winner vs. Sunday’s second quarterfinal winner).

Tuesday’s title games are both being played later in the day than previous years with the women slated for a 3:30 p.m. CT tip and the men to follow at 8:30 p.m. CT. Both of those contests along with the women’s semifinals games on Monday are set to be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. All first-round and quarterfinal games along with the men’s semifinals games will be televised by Midco Sports and streamed on the Summit League Network.

Additional lower-bowl inventory will be available for the general public and prices for 2024 all-session tickets will start at $127.50, which averages out to nearly $8 per game with 16 combined games on the docket for both tournaments.

Fans will also have the option to purchase preferred parking passes for Lot D, just north of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Passes will be sold for the five-day championship for $100 per pass and can be purchased as an add-on when making ticket purchases through Ticketmaster.
