SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts senior Issac McBride earned the first TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor of his career, League officials announced Monday. McBride averaged 27.0 ppg and 5.0 apg in road games at Missouri State and (13/15) Texas A&M.
McBride opened his week by scoring a career-high 27 points and dishing out three assists while playing all 40 minutes in a 84-69 loss at Missouri State. The senior went 9-for-21 from the field and 8-for-9 from the foul stripe while also pulling down four rebounds against the Bears.
In a matchup against top-25 foe Texas A&M, McBride matched his scoring output for the second consecutive game, going for 27 in the 74-66 loss to the Aggies.
The Little Rock, Ark., native went 9-for-17 from the floor, 4-for-7 from 3-point range and dished out a career-high seven assists in a game the Golden Eagles trailed by only six with under two minutes to play.
