SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the second time this season, North Dakota guard Treysen Eaglestaff garnered the TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor, League officials announced Monday. Eaglestaff scored a career-high 28 points in leading the Fighting Hawks to a 19-point road win at Utah Tech.
In the win over the Trailblazers, Eaglestaff buried a career-high six 3-pointers and went 9-for-17 from the field to go along with a pair of rebounds and two steals as he registered his fourth 20-plus point game of the campaign. The Bismarck, N.D. native had 13 points in the opening half that saw UND build a 40-21 lead at the break.
Eaglestaff went 9-for-17 (52.9) from beyond the arc in a pair of UND wins last week that pushed their victory total to a Summit League-best eight in non-conference play.
