SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts forward Ruthie Udoumoh earned the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor, League officials announced Wednesday. The weekly accolade is the first of Udoumoh’s career.
Udoumoh averaged 15.5 ppg and 10.0 rpg, posting back-to-back double-doubles for the Golden Eagles in a loss at K-State and in a comeback win at Wichita State. She now shares the Summit League lead with five double-doubles on the season.
Against the (12/16) Wildcats, the Broken Arrow, Okla., native recorded team-highs of 15 points and 10 rebounds, while adding a steal.
After falling behind by 14 early in the fourth quarter, Udoumoh sparked a furious rally by the Golden Eagles, scoring 12 of her 16 points in those closing 10 minutes.
She also secured her fourth straight double-double by pulling down 10 rebounds against the Shockers. Udoumoh finished the contest 7-for-10 from the field and added three steals.
